So, I'm new to this program and I'm finding it impossible to acquire a half decent quality output file.

Here are the settings I think I'm supposed to use?

I've tried using AVI, WMV, MPEG, MP4.

I've created 15 different renders now and each one is completely unusable.

the original files are crystal clear high quality videos. If i preview the videos while in the timeline they appear to be great quality also. It's just when it comes to 'producing them' AVS just completely messes them up.

Please tell me I'm doing something wrong because at the moment I feel like I have wasted my money as Windows movie maker apparently does a better job.

quality comparison - bottom is the raw video - top is the effort of AVS

Dear user,

Please note that preview quality does not influence anyhow the output video quality. By default AVS Video Editor creates cache for HD files after importing them.

To get the output file of high quality please select the input file parameters like frame rate, frame size and bitrate for the output by clicking on the Advanced button after selecting the format. To check the input file parameters right click on the video in media library - choose Properties. Inform about the result please.

Thank you for cooperation.

Kind regards .

Hi kiskecm, just curious here. Did you find another way for this one by any chance?
