I've been using various AVS products for a while now and am pretty happy with them overall!

I recently started using the Video Editor and I've got a couple of questions.

1: I load a video, edit it, save it out, and the result has clicks in the audio that the original did not have. Even when I set the output to be the same sample rate and bit rate as the source.

2: I can't find any way to just export the edited original. I must always convert it with compression settings. Is there a straightforward way to tell the video editor "All I want is the original, edited. Whatever kind of file it is, make the output identical."

3: I can't find a way to select some section of the video, and export just that part. Which means it takes me about 3 hours to test something simple.

In answer to your questions:

1. Could you record your steps working with AVS Video Editor and audio clicks in AVS Screen capture and send it to us.

2. If you just need to delete a part of the video file and save it without conversion, please try to use AVS Video Remaker:

If you need more editing, please use AVS Video Editor. To get the created video of best available quality please try to select the input file parameters like video bitrate, frame rate and frae size to be the same for the output, to do it press the Advanced button after selecting the format. To check the input file parameter right click on the file while in AVS Video Editor - choose Properties.

3. You can do it by slitiing your videos into parts and deleted the unwanted ones from the timeline:

Ok, let me see if I can narrow down the problem here.

I have two videos. A and B. Both play fine in VLC without any audio problems.

When I bring A into the video editor, it plays fine. Before I've done anything, no editing, just import video A into the Video Editor, and it plays fine.

Video B has pops in the audio. Haven't touched anything.

Both are avi files.

Hopefully if I list the differences between them it will be obvious where the pops are coming from.

A is 481mb.
B is 690mb.

A is 54 minutes long
B is 1 hour 39 minutes long

A is 1480x1300 resolution
B is 1912x1012 resolution

A's data rate is 1056kbps
B's data rate is 792kpbs

A's total bitrate (whatever that is) is 1248kbps
B's total bitrate is 984kbps

Both are 30 frames/second

Both have 2 channel, 28khz, 192kbps audio.

Nevermind, I figured it out. I was using Bandicam and it has a Graphics Card option for capturing video and something about that setting upset the Video Editor.
