I need to convert an mp3 file to MIDI so that I can upload it to my Yamaha digital keyboard, as that is the only format it will accept. I downloaded the Midi Pack setup .exe file, ran the setup wizard to install it, it said it installed, and I clicked finish to end. But, the program is nowhere to be found. Isn't it supposed to be a part of Audio Converter now? When I open Audio Converter (I have the latest version 7.2.2.529), there is no indication that conversion *to* MIDI is an option. And, it doesn't convert *from* MIDI to anything else either - I chose a MIDI file and tried to convert it to mp3 and wav and it didn't work. Please help - I could not find mention anywhere in your FAQs or Online Help of how to use the MIDI Pack. Thank you.

I am using Windows7 and Firefox on a hp Pavilion g7 laptop.

Hello,

Thank you for the question.

We regret to inform you that MIDI is only supported as an input format in AVS Audio Converter, even if you have installed a MIDI pack.

Please follow the link to view the full list of supported formats.

Should you need any further assistance feel free to contact us.

Best regards.

Thank you Claire, I didn't realize that. Still, though, I also tried to convert a MIDI file to mp3, and it didn't work. How can I tell if the MIDI pack installed correctly?

Hello,

To avoid this problem, please make sure that you have the latest version of AVS Audio Converter (ver. 7.2.2.529). You can download it under this link. Also please try to uninstall a MIDI pack.

Try to provide some additional information about the error:
- describe your actions step by step;
- specify the origin of the file you are trying to convert;
- specify which error message you have received during the conversion;
- attach a screenshot of your PC configuration: right-click My Computer, choose Properties, make a screenshot of the General tab.

I do have the latest version of Audio Converter and I did uninstall and reinstall the MIDI Pack. I don't get an error message during the installation process of the MIDI Pack. I'll move this issue to the support service link that you provided. Thank you.

Now, in 2016, is this MIDI-as-input-only, still the case. I bought your product for precisely the same reason: to produce midi output from WMA. I have some obscure version of your product that did produce a midi output although it was very messy. Please advise how I may produce midi output now.

MIDI Pack:
http://download.avs4you.com/distributives/AVSMidiPack.exe
http://www.avs4you.com/downloads/AVSMidiPack.exe

RealMedia Pack:
http://download.avs4you.com/distributives/AVSRMBinPack.exe
http://www.avs4you.com/downloads/AVSRMBinPack.exe

If you have already installed AVS Video Editor, AVS Video Converter, AVS Media Player or AVS Install Pack, then you already have the RealMedia Pack installed (\RMBin folder).
