I make a lot of videos for my Math courses where I go over additional examples. When I used to use MS Movie Maker, I would basically "trim out" all the audio silence, get rid of "umms" and other erroneous audio using that software. I noticed there's a "delete" silence on the audio editor, but is there a way to get that same feature on the video editor? I have purchased the video editor program, so I'd love to know if this is possible. Thanks!

Dear user,

It is possible to delete silence from the audio file in AVS Video Editor: after placing the audio onto audio timeline - zoom in the timeline and use Split and Delete buttons to delete the unwanted audio part.

If you need to delete the silence from the video file, you can also use split and delete buttons, but in this case you will need to delete both video and audio.

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance to you.

Kind regards
