Hi

I'm currently organising my music library and using the software to convert the AIFF and m4a files tp MP3 320. Everytime I select my music folder the program starts scanning the library; after about a minute I get a cascading error "External exception EE06D7363". The source folder is on my main system SSD and the destination is my NAS drive (4TB WD My Cloud). I have found similar posts and have uninstalled and re-installed the software and tidied up the registry to no avail. My music library is about 650Gb.

Any help would be appreciated as I've bought the software.

Thank you

Another observation, Task Manager shows AVS Audio Converter 32 bit; I am running Win 8.1 64 bit, maybe this is part of the issue?

I'm aiming to convert my entire music libary (650gb) ito MP3 320 format. Most of my music is either m4a or AIFF. I enter the parameters of the source (1TB SSD) and destination (4TB WD My Cloud); the program starts analysing the folder and comes up with a repeaterd External Exception EEFACE Error. I have followed previous posts re: uninstall and re-install but the same erro appears.

I am running Win 8.1 64 bit and did notice that the installation is in 32 bit.

Can you help?

Dear user,

Have you tried to completely uninstall the software using this utility?

Please also try to repair AVS files:
1. Close all AVS programs and other running applications.

2. Copy the following link to the address bar of My computer window and press <Enter>:

%COMMONPROGRAMFILES(x86)%\AVSMedia\ActiveX\Repairing.exe

If some of the .dlls are not registered, please make a screenshot of the Repair window showing those files and send it to us.

If you convert several audio files (not 650 Gb at once), do you get any problems?

Thank you for cooperation.

Kind regards

Hi Nat

I reinstalled the software and it appears fine. I have resided to converting 2 or 3 albums at a time and it's working fine now. No errors, although there is an annoying error; every time I load up the next Album to convert I receive the same error message (attached), I tick the Don't show again and it appears every time. Is there a Registry tweak to stop this from appearing.

Thank you for your help.

Dear user,

I am really sorry for the delay in reply.

The problem with "Don't show this message again" is now resolved.

Please unzip the file and save it to your hard drive:
C:\Program Files\AVS4YOU\AVSAudioConverter

Thank you for cooperation and understanding.

Kind regards
