I'm having some issues with audio, could someone please help me out? I apologise if this is a stupid question, or was posted into the wrong forums, but I am relatively new to AVS and don't use it often, so I wasn't sure what else to do.
In the editor, I can't edit audio at all. I can't make it louder or quieter, I can't pitch it, I can't fade it in or out. I am able to slide everything, but nothing actually happens when I do (I hope that made sense). The only thing that works is Right click >> mute. Is there any way to fix this?

Dear user,

Sorry for the delay in reply.

We'd greatly appreciate if you could provide some additional information about the issue:
- specify the exact version of the program you use,
- please attach the screenshot of the video on the timeline,

Do you have the same problem with any video files or all of them?

Thank you for the cooperation.

Kind regards

I forgot all about posting this, so I'm very sorry for my (much longer) delay...

The version is 6.5, I believe.
This problem only started when I got the editor on my new laptop. I had used it on my other computer around 6 or so times before (like I said, I haven't used it too much), which was version 6.4, and it worked perfectly.

The problem is with anything I make. It doesn't matter if it's an audio file or a video one, it just doesn't work, so I wasn't sure if adding a screenshot would help determine the problem. I also didn't have any clips I had used to try and make videos, since I deleted them when the audio wouldn't modify. Even so, I just filmed some videos of the room around me with the camera I usually use (of course, I can't change the audio on them), and took a screenshot.

Once again, I hoped it all made sense.

Thanks.

Dear user,

To avoid the problem please completely uninstall AVS4YOU software from your PC. Instructions below:

1. Go Start > All Programs > AVS4YOU > Uninstall. Please make sure to click the "Check All" button.

2. Follow this link and download the utility that will automatically remove all AVS software components from your PC. Save the utility on your computer and launch it.

3. Download and install the latest version of AVS Video Editor from our website:
