I was just about to purchase this but after working on a project I realized the preview window playback gets choppy when and audio file is played at the same time.

I've seen a lot of posts with just choppy video playback but nothing with audio. Also, my output is perfect, it is only the preview window playback that i'm having trouble with.

Here are my specs which I don't think is a problem:

OS Name Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate
Version 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601
Other OS Description Not Available
OS Manufacturer Microsoft Corporation
System Manufacturer MSI
System Model MS-7522

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz, 2667 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
BIOS Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. V3.4, 4/17/2009
SMBIOS Version 2.5
Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 6.00 GB
Total Physical Memory 5.99 GB
Available Physical Memory 3.78 GB
Total Virtual Memory 12.0 GB
Available Virtual Memory 9.36 GB
Page File Space 5.99 GB
Page File C:\pagefile.sys

any ideas?

Dear user,

To avoid the problem you need to change the quality of the preview window:
click on the Edit button on the top toolbar - choose Settings - General tab - Preview section: choose "Low (Fastest)" in "Quality" drop down box to get the best processing speed. Please also uncheck the option "Use original format in media library".

Try to playback your video on the preview window and inform about the result.

Kind regards
