I've been trying to convert YouTube videos downloaded via real player but when I drag them onto the converter they say their length is 00:00:00 and clicking the convert button does nothing. Downloaded FLV files behave normally but any that appear as MP4 are unplayable in all the video players and don't work even with the real player video converter.

I've updated AVS4You to 8.3 and there are no further updates

I've downloaded the latest K-lite codec pack

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the AVS4YOU converter as well

Basically at this point is there any way to make these files work with the converter or is this something to do with real player/YouTube?

Dear user,

If the files can not be played on any of your PC players and on the original real player that was used to download them, means the files might have not been downloaded right or are corrupted. Try to download them once again.

Should you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

Kind regards

I have purchased AVS4YOU on June 23 2013 (3 days ago !) and I have the same problem. There is nothing wrong with Videos downloded from Youtube using RealPlayer. They can be played on the PC and the File Properties show the correct video Information including Duration.

But AVS Video Converter indicates a length of 00:00:00 for the Input File and the Convert! button is doing nothing.

I have re-installed AVS4YOU including cleaning the Registry already 3 times.

Thanks for your help.
