I bought AVS VE two months ago and it was working like a charm. The last two weeks however the program started to show some issues. When i drag and drop uncoverted video-files into the editor, everything works well. I can adjust the size, manage and trim audio as well as video. The crash occurs instantely after i click on the "Produce"-Button. The cursor indicates that the system is working, but after about one minute the program freezes. Same happens with every other function that requires a window to be opened WHEN video files are in the preview. For example opening up the settings -> Freeze

I already...
-uninstalled and reinstalled the program several times
-cleaned up my registry with CCleaner
-searched my computer for viruses
-executed Adaware
-started the program as Administrator

From my point of view this looks like a memory-related issue, but i've no idea how to fix that.

My specs are:
Intel i-7 3610QM CPU @2,30GHz
16GB RAM
Nvidia Geforce 670 GTX M

Program version is 6.3.2.234

Any help would be appreciated!

I'm having the exact same problem. I don't know if there is a glitch when the "produce" button is clicked.

Hello,

1). Please make sure you followed the instruction under the following link http://www.avs4you.com/Guides/How-to-reinstall-AVS4YOU-programs.aspx

2) If it does not resolve the issue please repair files:

1. Close all AVS programs and other running applications.

2. Copy the following link to the address bar of My computer window and press <Enter>:

If you run 32bit PC: %COMMONPROGRAMFILES%\AVSMedia\ActiveX\Repairing.exe

If you run 64bit PC: %COMMONPROGRAMFILES(x86)%\AVSMedia\ActiveX\Repairing.exe

If some of the .dlls are not registered, please make a screenshot of the Repair window showing those files and send it to us.

Try to provide some additional information about the error:

- describe your actions step by step;

- What files you are processing (format and origin)

- Do all the files cause the problem?

Best regards

Attempting to split a video - here is a screenshot showing the selected area to be deleted (01.png):

Here is a screenshot after I have deleted the selected area (02.png):
Please describe where the "produce" button is that will enable me to actually cut this segment out - clicking "ok" does not do it. Thanks

Can't get through te first short video!
Can't get the thing to not crash! No particular time or function causes it. It just stops.
Why does this program not have auto backup so it can recover a project dropped like Audacity has?
Here is the problem report if it helps.
I am going to reload the program and try one more time then I am through with this product.
iF i HAVE TO BE A SUPER GEEK TO USE IT forget it!

I purchased the unlimited subscription a couple of days ago for an urgent use, but haven't had the luck to use it nor get any error message - the logo page appears and freezes immediately. I have to go into the task manager to force it off. I tried several times to uninstall and run the AVSuninstallcleaner, now I only reinstalled one program (video converter) but the same happens all the time. Sent an email to support, and now I filled a form but havent heard from them yet. Any ideas?
