Hello

I am trying to convert my 59.829 FPS MKV so that I can put it on my android phone. Every option I have tried has resulted in a video that has correct audio, but video that plays at double speed.

I started off with the devices --> Android with the following profiles:
Video for Android (H.264 - 854x480, 24 FPS)
Video for Android (H.264 - 854x480, 24 FPS) - Changed to 30 FPS
Video for Android (H.264 - 854x480, 24 FPS) - Changed to 29.xx FPS
Video for Android (H.264 - 854x480, 24 FPS) - Changed to Original FPS

I then tried the Formats --> MPEG with several profiles, including original, but everything resulted in double speed video and correct audio.

Is there any way to convert 59.829 FPS video using AVS4You Video Converter? I really want to get it to that Android H.264 format, but if I have to go via another format, I can do that.

If AVS4You Video Converter cannot do this, is it likely to be fixed in the near future? Is there a better sofware for converting this video?

Thank you
David

Dear David,

Thank you for the detailed description of the problem.

Please specify if your original .MKV file can be played without any problems on your PC players?

Please try to convert your file to MPEG or TS format, press the Advanced button and in Output video Frame rate select 60 FPS (for MPEG) or 59.95 FPS (for TS).
Inform about the result please.

Thank you for the information.

Kind regards

Thank you for your reply.

The original video plays fine on my PC's, and on two WD TV Live players.

I tried output to MPEG, and TS, with 60FPS, and both played at double speed video again. I have just about tried every format now, including conversion to MKV at 60 FPS, 59.x FPS, 30 FPS, 24 FPS, and 29.x FPS, all with the same results.

I have attached a screen shot of one of the options I used.

Thank you

Just FYI, I have downloaded another app to do the conversion, and it workd fine first go. A bit disappointing given that that tool is free, and actually has more features. Oh well, I am sorted anyway.

Thanks
