I tried thisr video editor and found it absolutely unusable for audio edits within the video. When I try to normalize audio tracks in a multi-clip project, I get sound spikes/pops at the joining point of my clips. They are very loud and annoying making the audio unusable.

So far, I tried to edit MTS files from my Panasonic cam.

Is there any remedy for this? I never had this happen with any other video editing product.

Will there be any input from the support stuff?
Well, another thing I discovered, it's impossible to create a clean fade out sound without creating a spike at the end of a music clip. It looks like this: the sound is fading away, and at the end there's a sound spike. This is the worst video editor for working with sound I have seen so far.

The reason for the sound spike at the end of the audio can be the fact that the audio is not faded out at the end (in other words, the envelope at the end of the audio is not put correctly, not at the very end of the clip). You can check it by using the zoom option on the timeline - see the screenshot attached.

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance to you.

Kind regards
