I downloaded a video from internet. I saw that somebody had stretched the video vertically so that the people look very tall. Now I want to stretch it horizontally so that the people look normal.
Remember, this cannot be done using zoom as zoom maintains the aspect ratio

Dear user,

Please try to use the Aspect Correction tab in Advanced settings of AVS Video Converter, try to correlate the input and output aspect ratio.

You can also try changing the frame size in Conversion options tab of the Advanced settings.

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

Kind regards

several issues

Hi
I was talking about avs video EDITOR. how to do this in avs video editor. it is very simple in premiere. I thought this feature would be available here too.

I also checked out your avs video converter software. It cannot do what i want. I basically want to correct the aspect ratio of a '5 minute part' from a '30 minute long video'. Your converter software changes the aspect of the entire video.

i hope u understand the issue. Its been 2 days now my work is stuck.

Dear user,

Unfortunately it is not possible to change the aspect ratio only on the part of the video.

You can try to use AVS Video Converter to convert the part of the video where you need to change the aspect and delete the other part:
http://onlinehelp.avs4you.com/AVS-Video-Converter/Features/Editing/Timeline/DeletingScenes.aspx

To avoid loss of quality please use the input file bitrate, frame rate and frame size for the output.

You can select the output file frame size in AVS Video Editor when saving the video by pressing on the Advanced button (see the screenshot attached).
The input file aspect ration can be changed pressing the Edit button on the top toolbar of AVS Video Editor - Settings - Aspect ratio.

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance to you.

Kind regards
