I am using Windows XP to burn hard drive media to disc. In the Copying Process it gets stuck at
Burning to Destination Disc for about 7 minutes showing 0% while the stats at the bottom of' the
screen shows 70%. Then the tray automatically opens without any MESSAGE. I tried playing'
the output disc with no results.

I tried to copy many times even using a different batch of discs and same problem occurs. I already
wasted many discs.

Please respond ASAP.

Dear Groovy,

Please specify what format of the media file you need to brun to a disk and its origin.

Have you tried to use AVS Disk Creator to burn Data Disk (if it is not DVD video structure) with your files to a disk? Do you get any problems?

Try to burn the media file by right clicking on them - choose Sent to - AVS Video Burner, please use low speed disks of well known manufacture.

Inform about the result.

I reinstalled the latest version of AVS Disc Creator which I am using for the first time, Error Code 59. I read
a post here with the same problem. I don't understand because I have used same lot Memorex DVD-R before
and got good results. So it is not a disc issue.

I inputted a video created by AVS Video Editor. (Sometimes I converted it through AVS Video Converter to MP4).

I did use AVS DVD Copy successfully once and many times unsuccessful. It's definitely not a disc medium issue or
compatibility.

Now I remember using AVS Disc Creator long time ago not for video but to copy AUDIO CD. Just to see what happens if I
use the task Copy Disc with an audio cd input. I got Writing Destination Error message title and Error code 59 Error write
to buffer sectors. Whatever that means.

I did this after I failed in the DVD burning (see my post before this.

Please make sure you use Data Disk option when burning media files like MP4 through AVS Disk Creator.

Try to enable DMA mode using the isntructions on our help page:
http://onlinehelp.avs4you.com/Appendix/dma.aspx

Burn the disk once again please and inform about the result.
To assure the compatibility with the different drives, it is recommended to use low-speed discs from known manufacturers.
DVD-RW 1x-2x, DVD-R 4x and slower.
DVD+RW 2.4x, DVD+R 2.4-4x

I decided to take my computer to the shop with some other issues. Also had the DVD burner
replaced. Computer was thoroughly cleaned up from scratch. I was told by the technician
that I would need to reinstall my softwares because of the cleanup done. I tried
reinstalling a couple and am getting the trial version. My computer is authorized to
reinstall and why am I getting this trial version? I wrote a post in the support but has
not received a reply. Please help.

The problem could have been in the disk used.
