I keep getting a message EOverflow and will not activate.

I purchased AVS4YOU last year. I had to change my processer and mainboard. I was told my old regestration was no good so I purchased the lifetime again. I have my new number but can't get it to work. I have vista now - my old set up was XP. But it worked fine.

Hi,
could you please write the exact model of your computer motherboard and processor? That would be extremely helpful to us to be able to solve your problem.
Best regards.

Hello,

Please specify whether the error repeats with all files or with one only? What output format you choose?
Please, also:
1. Launch AVS Video Converter and choose the input file
2. Select the preset
3. Double click on Advanced button
4. Make a screenshot of the file information and attach it to the post.

Best Regards

EPrivilege : This is the msg I get when launching AVS Video Converter 6 since a couple of weeks. I had used it for a while without any problem. I can't tell you what I did or what I got just before.
No change in hardware before, no new installation or software.
I started from scratch, I reinstalled AVSVC6 4 or 5 times, same msg.

Thanks for helping...

First of all, please make sure you have administrative permissions for program installation and registration.

If yes, please could you provide us with the information on your PC (OS, service pack, if you use 32- or 64-bit system).
Also specify whether you get the error every time you open AVS Video Converter.

Try to repair AVS files and inform us if all the .dll files are registered:
1. Close AVS Video Converter and all other running programs and applications.
2. Next follow Start > All Programs > AVS4YOU > Repair

Looking forward to hearing from you

The recommendations are the same as for EAccessViolation error.
Please try following the advice given in post #4661 in this thread.
