When I try to convert any video format to webm, my computer always immediately completely freezes, I can't even go to task manager, only possibility is hard reset button on my pc case. There is no problem with any other output video formats, only webm. I've tried all possible settings, no luck.

I have Windows XP, AVSVC the latest - older versions have the same problem. Other video converters work well with webm on my pc.

Any ideas?

Dear User,

To avoid the problem please try to completely uninstall AVS4YOU software from your PC. Instructions below:
1. Go Start > All Programs > AVS4YOU > Uninstall. Please make sure to click the "Check All" button.

2. Follow this link and download the utility that will automatically remove all AVS software components from your PC. Save the utility on your computer and launch it. It is highly recommended to leave the default option "Delete license key-files" checked.

3. Download and install the latest versions of the necessary programs from our website:

Try to convert your files once again and inform about the result.

Thank you for cooperation.

Kind regards

I don't have this issue exactly but my CPU does go to 100% for the duration of the conversion. I effectively have to walk away
and let it finish. It doesn't hang my machine though. You might try tuning down the thread priority to "low" for the conversion
to make it not consume so much.
