Hi,

I wanted to add text to a video.

1. I click on the Text button
2. drag and drop my desired text (e.g. Simple 01) to the timeline
3. double click the text bar to open up the Text dialog

I do not see text visible so..

4. Click on Add Text
5. double click in the box
6. type 'SOMETHING'

Nothing appears - just a black screen.

I tried changing font still nothing.

I am running Windows 7 with 6.0.2.183 AVS video editor..

You are using the previous version of the sopftware. I recommend you to completely uninstall the AVS4YOU programs to avoid problems with funtionality:

1. Go Start > All Programs > AVS4YOU > Uninstall. Please make sure to click the "Check All" button.

2. Follow this link and download the utility that will automatically remove all AVS software components from your PC. Save the utility on your computer and launch it. It is highly recommended to leave the default option "Delete license key-files" checked.

3. Download and install the latest version of AVS Video Editor from our website:

Try to use the text function once gain and inform about the result.
