Hi,

I've a problem with converted video files larger than ± 4 GB.
After conversion I just get a "completed" with no errors, but when I want to play it using Windows Media Player or iPad it won't play at all.
If I reduce the size to < 4 GB it can be played using Windows Media Player or iPad.
Other video's larger than 4 GB which weren't converted using AVS can be played by Windows Media Player. iPad doesn't support these formats, that's why I'm converting it.
I've tried several formats: Mov / M4V
Is there a size limit in AVS ?

Specs:
- AVS Video Converter 8
- Windows 7 64 bit with Service Pack 1
- 256 GB SSD formatted as NTFS.
- latest K-Lite codec pack, basic version
- Standard Windows Media Player

Possibly a limitation on WMP. Have you tried using VLC already?

Nope, when I play other video files which aren't coded by AVS they work on Windows Media Player, so no limitations on WMP.
And besides if I copy the converted file to my iPad it doesn't work there either.
Only smaller files < 4 GB works both on Windows Media Player and iPad.

Dear User,

Please specify what changes you make while creating the file (what profile you use or what settings you select in Advanced).

Do you get any problems (error messages) while creating the files that are bigger than 4 GB.

Specify if you can playback the created files on VLC, some other players or preview window of AVS Video Converter by clicking on the Edit button.

Thank you for cooperation.

Kind regards
