I'm new with AVS4You and there are a lot of issues I find with the video editing program. I've had loss of sound while assembling a video, I just save my work, close the program then reopen it. Also, look at the audio track and make sure that the volume line is about half way up or centered in the waveform, then remake the video. Good Luck and I hope this may help.

Dear User,

Specify the format and origin of the input file you use in AVS Video ReMaker.

Please also inform what settings are selected for the output file and what player is used to playback the created video.
If possible, try to use some other players to play the file and inform about the result.

Thank you for cooperation.

Kind regards

I seem to have the same issue. I'm not doing any encoding or anything. I'm just trying to join two or more files using video remaker. The files have sound before but not after being joined. Here's some information on the file type I'm trying to join. This is a file created on my Panasonic HD tm55k camcorder.

I would like to add that the converted file containing 2 joined files looks like this. It appears to have audio in it but does not have sound on any media player I try.

Dear User,

Thank you for the deteiled information and the specifications of the files sent.

Could you specify what PC Players you use to playback the created video file and the versions of them?

Do you have any codec packs installed on your PC, if not try to install one with PCM audio codec.

Try to use AVS Media Player to playback the created file, do you get the audio?

Thank you for cooperation.

Kind regards
