When I had difficulties burning a BluRay while producing it, I took another option of writing it to a file instead of burning a disc. This created an Output folder on my hard drive to the location I specified. When I tried to use the Disk Creator program, I pointed it to the folder previously created. The Disk Creator program could not find a burnable source. I tried pointing it to several of the sub-folders with the same effect. All I saw in the output folder that looked like video source was my original m2ts files. There is no clear explanation in the help file for the Disk Creator program to help me to get this thing to work. Fortunately, I was able to eventually get the disk burning to work directly from the producing step of the Video Editor.

Speaking of lack of documentation, can one take an edited disc with titles and use it as input to create a corrected version that the Video Editor can interpret properly? This is a common usage of the Video Editor and should be covered in the help section.

Hello,
You can find information on burning Blu-rays in AVS Disc Creator here.
Find information on working with discs in AVS Video Converter here (although it refers to AVS Video Converter, the same guidelines apply to AVS Video Editor when adding video from a BD/DVD).
Please note that when adding the video from a BD/DVD in AVS Video Editor the information about the disc menu and chapters is not retained.

Best regards

What about titles? Are they retained?

Also, what is the best way to duplicate a burned BD-R disc to retain all information including chapters, titles, and video?

I believe I followed the instructions on how to burn from an Output file, but when I pointed to the Output file created by the 'produce' operation in the Video Editor, the program complained that it could not find any video information to burn. Which files is it looking for, and should I have pointed the burner to specific files in the Output folder?

Hello,
The titles, chapters and all the settings you chose when creating Blu-ray in AVS Video Editor are retained when you burn the output Blu-ray video onto a BD in AVS Disc Creator.
You need to add BDMV, CERTIFICATE and SLY! folders to AVS Disc Creator for burning a Blu-ray disc.
Click the Add BD Video... button to open the Select Files/Folders window and add the folder containing the BDMV, CERTIFICATE and SLY! folders to the Files and Folders Area for burning.
Note: the SLY! folder is not always present in Blu-ray files structure.
Best regards
