I modified a jpeg file 2.5 mb 300x300dpi, but when I try to save it, the new file is only 0.32 mb 96x96dpi. How can I save the file preserving the best resolution and dimension, and all informations? With other photo editors I can choose the saving quality.
Thank you for your reply!

Hello,
Unfortunately it is not possible to save to 300dpi and preserve the file information in AVS Photo Editor.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Best regards

I am not able to enhance my images to 300dpi as this was advertised it would do. Even when I select various sizes in the selection box it will only bring to image to 96dpi.

Hello,

Sorry for the late response.

Do you have this problem only converting some certain images or just all images? What is the format of these images?

Could you please also specify your PC configuration (Operating System, CPU, Ram)?

Best regards.

I am just starting to use the Image Converter and my project is to take a small JPG made from Power Point which comes out as a 720x540 in size and then enlarge the jpg to somewhere around 1440x1080. I see the increase in size on my computer monitor which is 17" but when I put the photo on the 46" LCD monitor at the Library for our Electronic Bulletin Board I still get the picture in the middle with the black bars on the sides which tells me my jpg isn't big enough to fit the 46" monitor.

How big do I need to go in converting the jpg created by power point to get it to fit the 46" monitor or is this something the Image converter can't do?

Hello,

Which resolution does your 46" LCD monitor have?

Hi Vlad,
I am evaluating this imaging converter software prior to purchasing. I am having problems converting .jpg files to 6 x 4 @ 300dpi they only resize to 6 x 4 @ 96dpi.
My laptop is running Win7 cpu is Intel Core2 Duo T5870 2GHz with 1Gb RAM.
Can you advise?
Regards
Ian

Hello Ian,

Please make sure you have the latest version AVS Image Converter 2.0.2.160 which is avaliable on our website.

If it does not solve the issue, please attach one of the photo you are trying to convert.

Regards.
