I'm having a lot of problems with the Text Editor in the Video Editor.

I have read all the help, but it does not address my problems. it seems to me that:
When editing an object such as a shape, the object cannot be deleted. And when editing text, the text appears twice, slightly offset, making it very difficult to edit.
Is there a problem here, or am I just not understanding it properly? Is anyone else having these problems? (Version 6.2.)
Thanks,
Mick Berg.

Seems I can't edit a post in the forum.
So I would like to add that the Rolling Credits style in the text editor does not seem to have these problems.have these problems.
Thanks,
Mick Berg.

Hello,
Mick Berg:
When editing an object such as a shape, the object cannot be deleted.

If you add an object using one of the draw video effects in AVS Video Editor, you can delete it by deleting the effect from the timeline.

Mick Berg:
And when editing text, the text appears twice, slightly offset, making it very difficult to edit.

Could you please describe your actions step by step and attach a screenshot of the text editing window illustrating the issue.

Best regards
