Hello Community,

I am trying to convert a Blue Ray DVD with DTS Audio to AVI.

The AVS Video Converter 8.1 detects the DTS Audio track correctly and I am able to convert the video, but this version has a memory leak with causes the AVS Video Converter to crash after some minutes.

After upgrading to AVS Video Converter 8.2 the DTS Audio track isn't detected any more (but the leak is gone). I tried to reinstall 8.2 without any change. After downgrading to 8.1, the DTS track is detected again but the memory leak is back too.

Please can anyone help me?

Help! I need the fix as well. I was beginning to think I was going to have to abandon AVS4YOU for DFDFAB.

Hello,
To avoid the problem we would ask you to unzip and launch the attached utility on your PC. This utility will update AVS software components installed on your PC.

1. Save the attached .exe file on your PC.
2. Close all running AVS applications and launch the utility.
3. Follow the instructions given.
4. When the installation is complete new updated software components will be installed on your computer.

Then please repair AVS files:

1. Close all AVS programs and other running applications.

2. Follow Start > All Programs > AVS4YOU > Repair.
