Every audio file I attempt to edit gives me "audio output error" when it click Play. All updates have been downloaded. I ran the Repair matrix and got "success" on every file. Last time I used AVS Audio Editor everything worked okay but since then I've had my machine tuned up. However, all audio systems on my computer work fine. I'm running Windows XP and Realtek audio.

If you advise me to uninstall and re-install, will I need my original activation key? If so, I cannot locate it.

[SIZE3 I did all that Support recommended. But the problem continues.

I can open Audio Editor. I can call up a file and load it into the editing window. But if I try to play it, nothing happens when I click Play. If I click play a second time, I get the "output driver error" message. If I mark a a section of the file and attempt to delete the section or do anything with it, I get the error message again. If I close the editor, I get the same message before it shut down.

Again, I do not have problems with any aspect of my computer that would suggest this is a hardware problem. I also just ran a disc cleaning program, so I do not believe this has anything to do with low memory.

Anybody, ideas?
