Multiple issues:

Note: I only edit 1080p videos (15 Mbps bitrate)

1) Keeps crashing when multi-trimming (I am with my mouse on the speed slider and keep taking it to 8x, then 4, then 1x etc, depending on how fast/slow I want to review my videos.

I tried disabling cache altogether and crashed seem to have stopped (even though I only tested this with only one 4GB file).

2) Crashed when files are being cached.

3) Most annoying issue: I multi trim a file, and then the Scenes submenu for that file is Empty. I go back to the Media Library, that's empty aswell. I re-add the same video in the media library, and I get the scenes submenu (on the thumbnail), I click in, go in the scenes submenu, again, no videos. I go back to the media library, again, no videos.

4) The software is very very slow overall, and again, keeps crashing whenever I multi-trim, add effects (and doubleclick to edit them, or in random other actions).

Perhaps anyone on the forum can help ? (I also made an official support request).

At 3) I have the exact same issue depicted here: http://forum.avs4you.com/posts.aspx?lng=ENG&t=4084

I found out how to "temporarily fix" this by renaming the files, by myself (was obvious). But this doesn't fix the fact that I spend 20 to 25 miinutes reviewing and trimming every hour of footage, only to find that I lost everything I've done.

So besides the "rename" fix, please let me know how this can be fixed permanently.

Thanks :)

Hello,

To avoid the problem please completely uninstall AVS4YOU software from your PC. Instructions below:

1. Go Start > All Programs > AVS4YOU > Uninstall. Please make sure to click the "Check All" button.

2. Follow this link and download the utility that will automatically remove all AVS software components from your PC. Save the utility on your computer and launch it. It is highly recommended to leave the default option "Delete license key-files" checked.

3. Download the latest version of AVS Video Editor from our website

Now install the software on your PC anew.

If it does not solve the issue please contact us again and specify your PC configuration.

Best regards.
