I thought the idea behind ReMake is quote "without any need to re-encode the file" so why does it ask for a video and audio format? Why does it not just use the format of the imported file(s)?

Helo,

AVS Video Remaker keeps the format but allows to select another video codec.

Best regards.

I would suggest the software should default to the codec of the imported file. I used ReMake with the default AVI/PCM output but it resulted in reduced quality with the audio out of synchronization with the video.

Hello,

Try to provide some additional information about the error:

- describe your actions step by step;

- specify the format of the file you are trying to remake and its origin;

- specify to which format you convert and which presets you select;

- specify whether the audio is out of sync in the preview window

Best regards.
