OK, I am an idiot. Now that I have denegtated myself before the whole AVS commuity, I need to ask:

How do I save files so that I can close the editing program and be able to retrieve the files at a later date? Step by step directiions helps a lot. Thanks in advance.

Sincerely,

An idiot.

Hello,

Don't be so hard on yourself. ;-)
If you want to save your project in AVS Video Editor please follow our instructions.
Please note that the vep file is the project file containing the information on the video and audio clips, effects and transitions added to your movie. In order to avoid any problem do not change the location of the files used in the project.

Best regards.

Don't worry to much. I even used the same instruction before. I guess a lot of us do.
