I am using Video Editor, v 6.1.2.211 on an HP s5310f, AMD Athlon II X2 250 3GHz, Nvidia GeForce 6150se nForce 430, 4gb mem, 60gb hd, Win 7, Norton 2012.
I just opened VE and imported 10 music videos that I downloaded from YouTube - no restrictions. When they finished importing, there was no video - just a black window. When I clicked Play in the preview, I got the music but not video.I've had not problems in the past and don't understand why I'm having this problem now. The attacements show the videos that I downloaded and what I got when I imported them.
Any ideas anyone?

Hello Lex. Thanks so much for your reply. I apologize for the delay in answering you but I wasn't aware of any response.
Just happened to decide to come back to the forums to see.
I discovered the problem, quite by mistake.
I used a different video editing/production program and when I imported the suspect videos, it advised me that they were
in PAL video format. So, I used AVSConverter and converted them to NTSC and they imported fine.
It's the first time I ran across You Tube videos in PAL but I will be converting everything from now on just to be sure.
Again, thanks.
