I have some of those "keychain video cameras" and am having a rather specific problem.

The raw footage looks good.

The raw footage posted direct to Vimeo looks good, like this http://vimeo.com/37252797

The raw footage edited (cut and paste only) with AVS Video Remaker looks good. AVS Video Remaker is supposed to just cut and paste, not reformat.

I guess you'll just have to trust me that the quality seems to be coming out good because I don't think I'm allowed to upload an attachment here

-- but if you want to see some of this footage look at this attachment here (bottom of post)

Now the frustrating part-- the raw footage edited (cut and paste only) with AVS Video Remaker and THEN posted to Vimeo looks lousy, like this

http://vimeo.com/37260721

Note the washed-out colors and the "ghosting" of the orange tuft of yarn as second red image near the bottom center of the screen.

Can you help? I have lots of good footage going to waste because of this problem.

I don't know, maybe part of the problem is AVS Video Remaker, have others had this problem with this program, and if so, what is another good program that is easy to use?

I am a novice at video editing but hope to learn more-- and get some better results soon!

Thanks
Steve

Oh dear I just posted the same (edited) clip to You Tube and it is much worse

The problem is not specific to Vimeo
I think it has something to to with AVS Video ReMaker
