I'm getting the following problem when using AVS Video Remaker:

Load large file into app.
I used the Split function to isolate unwanted pieces of the file, which I then deleted.
I then applied transitions to tidy up the splits.

When previewing the project within Remaker, all is well. However, when I save the file into a new AVI and watch that, the splits continue playback with content from the start of the original file instead of from after deleted sections in the project.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Also, this happens if when performing the remake I select 'save each clip as separate file'. I get a bunch of clips that are all different lengths, but all start from the start of the original file.

Hello,

Please provide more information:
- specify the format of the file you are trying to remake and its origin
- specify to which format you convert and which presets you select

Please make sure you use the latest version of AVS Video Remaker 4.0:

Try to use AVS Video Editor:

Best regards.

The format of the source file I believe to be H264, recorded from a ContourHD camera. Looking at the file in Remaker says the following:

:
H.264/AVC, 1920 x 1080, 29.97fps, MPEG-2/4 audio, 48000 Hz, 2 channels

When I was performing the 'remake' I simply specified AVI as the video format, and PCM as the audio format.

I believe to be using the most recent version of Remaker, as I only bought and downloaded the software a couple of days ago.

I will attempt to use Video Editor instead of Remaker to try the operation again.
