I'm not getting a clean playback on any loops that I try to create. I'm only talking 2 bars worth.....the audio stutters and generally doesn't give me a clean continuous sound, so I'm unable to see if i am getting the exact peice of audio i need.
I can't see what i might be doing wrong. I've used sound forge, cool edit (before it was audition) and i've used Peak on the mac. None of these had any problems looping audio so what is it about AVS that isn't working for me? ...incidentally there is nothing in the help files about looping audio.

Thanks
G

Hello G,

Do you mean loop feature in Mix option of AVS Audio Editor or looping in usuall file editing?

Best regards.

If making audio loops (e.g., for use in a DVD Disc Menu) is possible in AVS, can someone point me to the instructions or an illustration of some kind.

Sorry for the noobish question, but I'm quite new to audio editing.

Thanks, in advance

Maybe I wasn't specific enough. In the [edit]->[settings]->[processing] dropdown menu the 'enable looping' checkbox is clicked and the audio track does, indeed, loop back to the beginning. However, the pause between loops is so great that, were this in the 60s, the audience might think the tape is being rewound.

While there may be nothing one can do about the gap between loops, I would imagine that being able to add an audio transition might be possible so the break/gap isn't so jarring.
