The computer has a dual graphics system, one GP's a Nvidia GForce CT525M (1Gig) chip, the others an Intel HD graphics chipset(this is the systems default chip), i choose the Nvidia GP the AVS video software's won't work, videos will not display and the software will freeze.

Using the default Intel GP chipset, which handles a variable memory size according to the needs of the software, the AVS software will run well with no issues.

But, i would have like to have used the dedicated Nvidia GP with it's 1Gig of dedicated memory, i have check for updates but there are none for Nvidia's setup, particularly wirth regards to the Dell inspiron one 2320 all-in-one.

If i use other software on the system, choosing the Nvidia GP i have no issues, also, i did try out something by uninstalling all the AVS software, then setting the Nvidia GP to the systems default and re-installing the software, but the AVS playback and freeze issues were still present.

Another smaller issue is, if a play a 16:9 HD 1080 @ 15000bit Mpeg 2- 29.97fps file that i created in AVS Video editor in the AVS Media player, the video plays with judder (not smooth), if i play the same file in Windows Media player it's perfect free of any judder, i can't tell if WMP is using the Nvidia GP or the Intel GP.

So members or AVS support, if you know what's happening and how to solve the issues, that would be great, i have sent a support question on some previous queries regarding Mpeg4, and some of the issues above, but heard nothing as yet

kind regards

Hello,

Yes, there is the problem in our software working on dual graphics system. It has already been discussed here. Currently, the solution is to download and install the latest drivers for Nvidia card downloading the from manufacturer website.

HD video playback issue is also connected with this problem. Our software does not use Nvidia GP for playback.

Best regards.

P.S. your other queries has been answered in our support system.
