Is it possible to view the settings of a file I want to convert to insure its being converted in the same (like bitrate, size, etc.).

Never mind...I just realized the setting were in plain site (left side of the screen - advanced).

Yes, file properties can be seen in AVS Video Converter>Advanced>Convertions Options.
