Hi,
I tried to convert an MKV file (H.264/AVC video codec and DTS 6 ch. audio) into AVCHD/Blu Ray (setting: Blu-ray Ful lHD 1080p H.264, 24000 kbps, 23.976 fps) to be played on a table BD player. But after 10 hours of recoding the result is:

Video is almost all artefacts, squares and bad pixels
Audio is reduced to LPCM 2 ch (from DTS 6 ch)

Am I going wrong somewhere or is it a limitation of the AVS Video Converter ?
Why a "simple and free" application such as MKV2VOB works fine instead with the same file (of course with the limitation of not being able to do any editing and/or chapters) ?

Many thanks in advance.

Hello,

It may be that resolution of your MKV files is much lower than resolution of Blu-ray Full HD. Therefore, please specify the frame size of your MKV file which you can see in Advanced>Conversion Options>Input file.

As for LPCM, unfortunately, it is the only sound which is supported in Blu-Ray format for output in our software. We are sorry if it may be of any inconvenience.

Best retgards.
