When using the AVS Video Editor, it would be helpful to be able to advance the video frame by frame using the roller wheel on the mouse. Or advance the time indicator by seconds or minutes using the wheel.

Thank you for your suggestion, I will forward it to our developers. Currently, you can advance video by frame with previos frame and next frame buttons on preview and advance Timeline using Zoom option. Do not you find it convenient?

I am used to using the mouse wheel to advance the video because of my long use of Nero editing software. The wheel allows one to scroll through numerous frames quickly, instead of having to click the next or previous frame buttons one at a time. This is not convenient and can be quite monotonous if one needs to advance very far. Being able to advance by frame or by seconds and minutes with the mouse wheel would be extremely valuable.
