Hello,

I have tried to select the EDIT VIDEO function on a couple of different file formats (.mpg & .mov). After selecting two seperate trim areas I click OK. The windows circle spins suggesting activity but that is the end of it. It just goes on and on and nothing happens.

Any ideas?

Using Win 7 64bit and AVS VC 8. AVS VC works fine at converting videos just can't seem to trim them in the editor.

Thanks.

Hello,

Please try disabling Intel Media Codec in AVS Video Converter>Settings>Processing>Codec>Intel Media>Disable and then restart AVS Video Converter. Try also updating video card drivers and installing codec pack.

If it does not help, please specify your PC configuration (Operating System, CPU, Ram).

Best regards.

Hi Vlad,

Interestingly it worked!!!

All I did was disable the Intel Codec, update my Nvidia drivers, re-enabled intel codec and all is now perfect.

My video drivers could not have been more than a month old so I am curious as to how this would have such an impact. If you can shed any light on this i'd be keen to understand it.

Failing that all is well. Thanks!!
