I have been using avs for couple of yrs. Have alwyas been able to access the text effects to add to videos. Just updated to an unlimited subscription and installed latest video editor, but can only get 1 text effect or title -- the star wars one. have run repair, which comes back as success for all items; have run updates; have uninstalled per AVS support personnel instructions and re-installed. Still have only that 1 text. Anyone know what story is on that? something I haven't installed or or am I looking in wrong place?

thanks for any help can provide.
(other than that, it's working fine ... have all other video and transition affects)

Hello,

In order to solve the issue please remove the file Title from the following folder c:\Documents and Settings\{USERNAME}\Application Data\AVS4YOU\AVSVideoEditor\Profiles\Title. If the issue remains find the file attached, unzip it and save to the following folder on your PC
C:\Documents and Settings\your_user_name\Application Data\AVS4YOU\AVSVideoEditor

Best regards.

Thanks for your reply. Read & tried. But there was no "Title" Folder under Documents & Settings. In fact there is no AVS folder of any kind in that area. Not sure if "AppData" folder is the same as Application Data, but assume it is and it has only 1 folder w/2 files.

HOWEVER, I did find "Title" folder in c:program files/avs4you/avsvideoeditor/profiles. I deleted that folder, then tried the editor. Same result. then I downloaded your zip file and extracted all and saved to the same avsvideoeditor file. Still no change, just the 1 title.

Lost on this - please advise

Yes, I had already done that. But, just to make sure, I did so again. Same result again. When I look in AVS folders under AppData, it shows the profiles folder and all of the text presets are there - there are quite a few of them. The program itself seems to run fine and I have the profiles. For some reason, when the program is open, it is not able to access or recall those text presets when clicking the menu. Any other suggestions.. Have no uninstalled PRECISELY per the instructions and re-installed and used the zip file for profiles... all with same result. So something else is going on here.

Hello,

To avoid the problem please completely uninstall AVS4YOU software from your PC. Instructions below:

1. Go Start > All Programs > AVS4YOU > Uninstall. Please make sure to click the "Check All" button.

2. Follow 'this link' and download the utility that will automatically remove all AVS software components from your PC. Save the utility on your computer and launch it. It is highly recommended to leave the default option "Delete license key-files" checked.

3. Download the latest versions of the necessary programs from our website:
http://download.avs4you.net/distributives/AVSVideoEditor.exe

Best regards.
