I am unable to preview video when in editing mode.
Also when I have the Editor application open, the sound on my computer doesn't work.

Windows 7 x64
Lenovo W520
i7-2820QM @ 2.3Ghz with 16Gb RAM

Please check Color quality in your display settings (right click on desktop>Properties>Display Settings).
