I am using the current avs video editor. And I am making a little movie, but to try and keep things simple on me I am trying to do small segments at a time and then merge the projects together as I go along. Problem is, when a project is merged it loses doesn't stay intact the way i put it together. The audio becomes slightly out of sinc because it doesn't save the transitions. When I put transitions back in, its always slightly off my original segment. Not sure if that makes any sense to anybody? But if so, is there anything I can do besides just creating one big project and not merging segments together?
Thanks you

Hello,

Sorry for the delay.

I suppose you add audio track separately as soundtrack... and then missing transitions give the lag with video. Unfortunately, there is a problem with transitions when merge projects. We are sorry for the inconvenience.It will be corrected in the next version.

Currently, you should create one big project. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Best regards.

When do you anticipate this will be fixed???

Is there a way to move multiple pieces of multiple lines in one project together up or down the timeline so they keep sync the way they are together?

Dear Rebecca,

In order to merge your projects please follow the detailed instructions below:

(1) open AVS Video Editor;
(2) open Projects tab;
(3) double-click on the first project you would like to open;
(4) the Media Library tab will open automatically; please return to the Projects tab;
(5) right-click on the second project and select Merge Projects option;
(6) the second project will be added on the Timeline just after the first one.

Your solution for merging projects is very limiting. What if your are creating a chronological series of videos under a single project. How can you insert video files in the middle of this timeline sequence. When I try this, th titles in the original timeline gets shifted our of line. I have sent a message with
snapshots of before and after effects of inserting video and titles, which shows the shifting. I also show what happens when the added videos and titles are backed out and the original titles are restored to their proper location.
