I am producing video in HD format. When text is displayed it is at first very smooth and good looking, however, after about 10 seconds the entire shot goes fuzzy.

For example, I have about 50 words on screen. To give the reader long enough to read the text I set a duration for the shot of 35 seconds. The first 10 seconds or so it is very good but then for the last 25 secobds or so it goes very fuzzy.

the next shot repeats the cycle.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Could you please specify the format of video files to which you overlay text? Which resolution and aspect ratio do they have?

And what is the format of source files? Please check its properties in Media Library (right click on a file). Which resolution and aspect ratio do they have?

1280x728 pixel, bitrate 256kbs, audio M-PEG layer 3, frame rate 25 f/s, data rate 4710 kbps.

You can see an example of how it goes fuzzy at this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kEOBWvbY9CM

It's about half way through the video at the part where it says "this video was produced in lab conditions"

let me know where I am going wrong because it's happening with every video I produce.

thanks

Thanks for the video example. The problem can be seen clearly in it.

I've noticed that text baceme fuzzy when video frame was changed. It was light grey, then it bacame blurry. Could you please check your project? Was there really frame change?

there is no frame change. After this lide there is a 'fade' before the video excerpt. I am off work this week but will test it with the 'fade' removed next week.

Do you mean transition? Does it start at 0:50?

I am having the same problem. I recorded a screen capture in 1920x1080, 200 FPS, AVI format. It displays perfectly when I run the video by itself, but as soon as I try to add the video to the main video line in AVS Video, the video quality becomes very poor and the website text on my screen capture video becomes iimpossible to read.

My computer specs are saved to my profile.

Hello,

We'd recommend you to set the Preview Quality to High in the Settings menu (Edit->Settings->General).
You can find more information on our help page

Best regards.
