good morning,

have you planned, in the future, to use graphic card for speed up conversion process ?

Other video conversion software, for some output format :MKV and H-264, use this possibility ( NVIDIA CUDA ) and the conversion time is very less*OK*. I have just tried 8-)

Hello,

Unfortunately, at present we do not plan to support CUDA technology for conversion. We are sorry if it may be of any inconvenience.

Best regards.

That is pretty bad and sad news. I see now why folk spay $600 dollars for adobe premier...even if it only runs on 64bit OS. This AVS video editor is SO slow whn playing back...I have a nvidia cards just doing nothing while the software pushes the CPU to it limits.

I too think it's very sad AVS doesn't support Cuda, I should have done more testing before I purchased this software as I completely regret buying this software because of this reason now. I want my money back! Not happy at all

Hi guys, what would be nice to have on a future versions of avs video editor and avs video converter, would be GPU acceleration(cuda,or better DXVA that supports all gpus) and native support for 64bits windows for video preview and edition, because so far editing files with high count of bitrate in HD,its a bit risky, since the preview isnt fast enough, and avs video editor tends to crash. For example, editing videos recorded with FRAPS,it turns to be a big mess and lots of times the editor just crashes, and the videos playback isnt very great(at least on windows 7).And the caching of the videos is a bit slow, something faster would be nice.

The other thing i would love is a review of avs media player for registered users,so far that splashscreen is a bit off,and the quality of video playback isnt very good(at least on windows7),maybe some gpu acelaration or an option to use system codecs would be nice.
