I have tried to burn several small videos of my daughter using AVS Video Editor. The videos work great but at 16x9 but the menu is always full screen on all of my widescreen displays (TV, CPU monitor). I have tried burning about 8 different DVDs and the video is always 16x9 but the menu stays full screen. Any suggestions?

Hello,

Sorry for the late response.

Please make sure that you have the latest version AVS Video Editor 6.0, it can be downloaded from this link.

Also please select 16:9 aspect ration in Disc Menu option, see the screenshot attached.

I hope it helps.

Regards.

Hello,

Thanks Vlad. I tried that and still no luck. I have tried about everything I can think of. The video comes out at 16x9 but the DVD menu is always at 4x3 full screen aspect ratio. I can't figure out any way to change this. I feel like I have double checked everything. I downloaded 6.0 too. Any other tips?

Ok, which profiles with output settings do you select when save to DVD? NTSC or Pal? Do you use default menu style which calls Pattern? or additional menu style presets? If additional, please re-download and reinstall menu presets pack from this link.

Regards.

Yes I have the same problem. It is the preset menu which is the problem. Using 16:9 I get double imaging of the link text. I am using 6.0.3.184 of Video Editor. It worked when I changed to 4:3. Does the menu ever work in 16:9 or is this just a problem in some special circumstance?

Hello,

Does the problem appear already on preview in AVS Video Editor or only in resulted DVD when you play it on your TV screen? What is the aspect ratio of your TV?

Regards.

Hi,

I'm seeing the same problem. I'm a newcommer to this software using my first menu, it's OK on the computer but vastly expanded on a 16.9 tv. The software version is 6.1.2.211

Hop this helps.

Hello,

Please give the details about the problem. Which DVD menu preset have you choosed to create DVD menu? Have you selected NTSC or PAL profile with output settings?
