To convert powerpoint files to DVD you should use AVS Video Converter program. Unfortunately, animation in powerpoint files is not supported by our software. We are sorry if it may be of any inconvenience.

Regards.

I create PPS files all the time and convert them to WMV then to DVD, I use Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 to create the presentations in powerpoint, the files can be saved in various formats including WMV which can be saved or burnt as a DVD.

The reason PPS files are popular is they don't need many MBs, so they can be easily sent as email attatchments, when they are converted to AVI or WMV formats they are over 6 times larger in bytes. However if they are converted in powerpoint to video and then to DVD in AVS Video Converter, the animations (if present) will be successfully burnt.
