Can you give me a tip on how to synchronize the video and audio when I put them on the respective timelines. I am video recording a
person singing and I want to put the video (sound removed) on the video timeline. On the audio timeline I will put the recorded audio.
I would like to be able to synchronize the lip movement to the audio when I use the Video Editor.

Click on the audio on timeline and drag it in the direction you want
You can split the audio, deleting short portions, to attain high accuracy
There are currently no additional features in the AVS Video Editor for syncing audio and video portions.

Use a clapper board to spike the audio levels on the camera and on your 2nd audio source. Then just turn down the audio levels on the film and input your second source.

Hi,
I'm loving AVS video editor, very easy to use and very fast at rendering compared to premier elements.

Anyway I use a Canon 7D to record video and as you might know it's rubbish at audio so I've been looking at using a zoom h1 to capture audio (currently using AVS audio recorded to get voice via a Blue Yeti mic on the PC). The trouble is that syncing in post isn't as easy as I'd like. Are there any plugins for AVS that will make the job easier? At present I try to use the tiny tiny wave pattern you see on the audio track to match up a clapper board and up to now I've been lucky to get a close match.

Thanks.

Hello,

Unfortunately, there is no any special plugin in AVS software which would allow to sync sound and video. Sorry if it may be of any inconvenience.

Best regards.

I recommend creating a way to separate the audio and video track so they can be brought into synch if somehow the source video is out of sync.

Thanks!

Do you think it will work as complicated when it has such feature? I guess if you are an advance user, this could be useful.

If you plan on adding a simple video/audio sync utility in a future release of AVS Video Editor, please include an option to:

A) Do continuous playback of a 2 or 3 second loop of video so we can adjust the sync perfectly, i.e., match people's mouths with the audio.

Also:

B) Such a utility should allow us to shift the audio at least 10 seconds in either direction.

PLEASE add this in the next release!!!!

totally agree. even just giving us the ability to select an audio track and move it a frame at a time, like the video, then we could at least sync up if we've used a clapper board.

Totally agree. Even just giving us the ability to select an audio track and move it a frame at a time.

You can use Extract audio track in AVS Video Editor (right click on video file in Media Library), then put it as separate audio track on Audio Mix line and move audio by frame to sync video and audio.

Best regards.

Hey guys and gals,
I have just started using AVS and I'm pretty happy with it. However I'm using my Asus Transformer Prime, which for some reason has the audio become unsynced. It starts off fine but as the video progesses it gets wors and worse. I was wondering if there is any way to resync the audio and video with the avs software. I have tried speeding up the video but that overshot it. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Kindest Regards,
Scobbo
