Hi there,

I'm editing music files in Audio Editor 6.1 and I don't wish to change the original file, so I use "Save As..." to create a new file with a different name. Two inconvenient things happen when I do this.

First, the program always points back to the last directory into which I saved a file. I wish it would point back to the same directory the file I'm currently working on came from.

Second, when I close the file or the program after doing the "Save As..." operation I get the message that the file has not been saved. The program should update it's file list so that the file I'm working on has the new name that I gave it during the "Save As..." operation so that it recognizes the file I'm working on has indeed been saved but under a new name.

These two changes would make saving and closing out of files easier. Thanks!

Thanks for your suggestions.

However, these methods of working with files are common for most audio programs.
