I purchased the AVS DVD Copy and used it several times. The dvd's played but every minute or so they kind of pause/skip for a fraction of a second,. I have used Memorex DVD+R, Verbatim DVD+R and now am using Verbatim DVD-R. I have tried using a variety of methods , I copied the DVD using DVD Copy, then saved the DVD in my hard drive and copied it using Disc Creator. I am still getting the same problem. I tried copying the disc in Disc Creator and have a had all sorts of error messages. Please help!!!

Hello,

We need some additional information about the problem.

Do resulted discs play normally on your computer? What is the model of your DVD player? Have you tried copied dvd's on another dvd player?

Best regards.

I'm using Verbatim dvd-r. The discs play normally on my computer. The DVD player is a Panasonic model DVD-RA60. The DVDs do seem to play fine on my other DVD player. Is it possible the Panasonic is just being a pain? It's about 5 years old. My only concern is that I have played other burned DVDs on it that are DVD-R and they seem to play fine. Is it possible that when AVS shrinks the original it's somehow altering the quality? What I've done is also use DVD copy to store on the HDD, then burn it using AVS Disc Creator, is this just being redundant? I tried to burn the DVD using AVS Disc Creator but since AVS DC cant shrink the original DVD it tells me that the disc that is going to accept the image is too small. So what can I do?

Hello,

Thank you for the details.

Perhaps, this panasonic player do not accept some quality settings.

We have recently released new version of AVS DV Copy, so please try copying DVD's with it to solve the problem. Here you can download it. Please reinstall all the programs using the instructions from this link.

Regards.

I'm going to uninstall and reinstall the AVS DVD Copy, I'll burn a DVD and see if it works. What do you mean by the DVD player accepting quality settings? I'll be back to let you know what happens.

I mean parameters of DVD video, i.e. bitrate, sample rate, etc.

had to re-register my name again, I uninstalled DVD Copy and re-installed, still having the same problem. Is there anyway to fix or fine tune those DVD settings? or is that done when I burn the DVD?

Hello,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to change DVD settings in AVS DVD Copy.

I would advise you to re-convert DVD with AVS Video Converter. Then try playing resulted DVD on your Panasonic player and see if the same problem persists. Please inform us about the results.

Best regards.
