I am new to this forum. Can't find the topic in the search. I am using Pentium 4 3.0GHz, RAM 4 G, HDD 470G, Windows 7 Ultimate, AVS suite with AVS Video Conterter 7 (originally version 6). I am using AVS since Aus 2009.

The problem facing is the time take to convert the video clips into DVD or MP4 format. To convert 6.6 g HD video clips (1 hr playback) takes more than 12hrs. Many attempts had to be discarded as it take too long time to convert. May be some experience users advise to reduce time taken. Quality of the video must be at the highest.

It wouldn't be higher as the quality of source DVD video.
12hrs is quite normal result for producing HD video on single core PC
