Hello, can you tell me why AVS Video Editor reducing picture size after editing?
I record TV programs but after editing it the size comes down considerable, how can I fix this?
Also if I'm finishing editing and producing it by choosing "DVD" it will go half day then it will stop telling me "an internal error was encountered "code 65536"
You can go by the pictures I provided you with, I asked Maria about this but so far no answers, maybe she doesn't know it either. My computer running on 4gb memory W7 Ultimate and have 75gig storage space left.
Thanks Ed

Hi Ed,
Do you get 65536 while converting to DVD only?
Specify the source of the files you use for the project.

You need to change project aspect in the edit menu.

Additional info and why sometimes crop scale should be used

Yeah I get 65536 if I chose the DVD option. It will produce half way then it will stop and I get the 65536.
I have a fair bit of knowlege for the computer but not for the technical side of making movies from the TV.
What I do is record from the TV through the digital set top box , load it into the computer, edit it out and joine the files into one big one and burn it onto a DVD.
When I play the file from the top box I will have a full screen on the computer and when I burned to the DVD it will play the full screen on the TV. The problem is when I edit the commercials out of it with AVS Video Editor it will turn it into a smaller screen and thats what it will play on the TV as well.
I have tried almost every option in"File-Profile in Simple form" should I go "Advanced "configuration and alter the frame with and height? And to what numbers?
I would appreciate your advice as I really like Video Editor for the full windows size editing but I'm defeted in the "Produce department."
Should I be able to use DVD option when the editing is done? The closest format to the full size is the YouTube HD format.
Thanks.

Please attach short original video (zipped) and specify the format you need it to be converted to.
I'll try to reproduce the 65536 issue and choose the settings.
At the moment I'd recommend to change the aspect settings of the project (did you?) or use "zoom" video effect to bring the video closer
Looking forward to hearing from you
