Every time I use VC - which is several times a week on average - I have to click the Advanced button to open the bottom panel. This is a pain in the neck. I'd have thought that most users would want to see the Advanced panel every time they use VC. So, my wish is to do away with this option all together and have the full interface at launch. The default position in all software should be to minimize the number of clicks!!

I don't think all user would like to see the maximized interface at the start.
But the "start interface" option in preferences menu would be a great solution, thanks for your feedback.
