Hi All:

After upgradig to 7.1.480 and using the Apple TV Profile to convery DVD, I have seen a great increase in file size from around 1 Gig to 5 Gig.

Anyone know what has changed in version 7.1 to see such an increase in size?

Any thoughts on changing paramerters to keep the view expereince good but save on disk space?

Hello,

There is no special changes for the file size in new version. Seems that quality paramaters of Apple TV output file much better than parameters of your input file. You can get smaller file size reducing audio and video bitrate.

Thanks, do you know what the AppleTV default profile was for version prior to 7.1? Sorry I'm feeling lazy to try and match the good expereince and file size from the older versions.

Yes, there was Apple TV profile in MOV format in previous versions of AVS Video Converter. In AVS Video Converter 7 new profiles for mp4 format have been added (see Devices tab). Which one do you convert?
