I have imported a video at

Aspect ratio 16:9 and frame size comes in at 720x576 ( standard definition

The Aspect Ratio is set by default to 16:9 ( so no change needed there )

The question is when prducing the final video, what is the best Frame Size to use/select?

Bearing in mind this is SD Widescreen, I have found 3 options, thses are:

640x360, 854x480 or 950x540. Will the higher ones degrade the video ( I use a 1500 bitrate when encoding )

There are more, higher resloutions to use but I don't need to use them.[/SIZE4]

Why don't you just produce the movie at the original frame size which I am assuming is 720x576?

You can change this by selecting what format you want to encode the movie to and then press the Advanced button. From here you can change and enter anything you like.

I personally wouldn't use a higher frame size to encode the movie as this will give you poor result.
